Laugh out LOUD!!!

When was the last time you had a good laugh? Not just a mere chuckle, but a full on "belly shaking, laugh 'til your stomach hurts and tears are coming for your eyes" kind of laugh?

Well, if you can't remember when that was, it has been WAY too long and it is time to start laughing again. Yes, we know that today's news is often filled with doom and gloom, and sometimes it isn't easy to find the humor in anything! It reminds you to not take life (or yourself) too seriously!

Laughter is good for the soul! It helps you celebrate the good times and get through the hard times. It has even been proven scientifically that laughing is actually good for you and reduces stress! Think about how you FEEL when you are laughing. It's like you have been given a happy pill! You can't help but feel happiness and joy when you are laughing. So, let's start laughing more!

Here are some simple suggestions:
1. Call up an old high school buddy and reminisce about all the crazy, fun times you shared
2. Watch a favorite funny sitcom, movie, or America's Funniest Videos
3. Spend some time playing with a young child, kids love to laugh...and it's contagious
4. Look through old photos of yourself, your family and your friends....nothing says laughter like the hairstyles and fashion trends of the 70's and 80's


Laughter is, after all, the best medicine......so, go ahead and LOL!
