Creating Your Masterpiece is live
and on the airwaves (or podwaves??) in conjunction with the Parents Everywhere radio network.

Jen and I just recorded our 6th episode - and I have to tell you, it is a lot of fun! We go to the studio, put the headsets on and record our *gig* (that's radio lingo for our segment, I think:-)

We are bringing coaching to the airwaves! Each week we discuss a different issue, share a tip or interview a special guest that has helpful advice or information for parents!

Parents take care of a lot of people in their lives, and sometimes parents (especially Mom's) don't take time for themselves to really live life the way they were meant to.

As women we tend to take on a lot of different roles, wear many different hats - Mother, Wife, Sister, Co-worker, Daughter, Aunt, etc... but we need to remember to take care of ourselves as well! And to live our lives proactively, with passion and purpose!

There is a reason that before take off the airlines ALWAYS instruct you that in case of an emergency you are to take the oxygen mask and breathe for yourself FIRST before giving it to small children. You know why? We need to take care of ourselves to be the best person/parent that we can be for the family. What is that old saying??? If Mama ain't happy - Ain't nobody happy?

Anyway, the Parents Everywhere network is awesome. I invite you all to check it out! It features an an incredible resource of experts who provide you with the parenting tools you need every week. Subscribe to their Podcasts for free and each show will be automatically downloaded to your computer where you can listen to each episode on your computer, or copy the files to your iPod or MP3 Player. It is so exciting that you can get all this wonderful information with a click of the mouse! All I can say is that the world has come a LONG way since the days of eight track tapes and AM radio!
